Sorry about the loonnnggggg absence....
Update dad is back home and doing OK. We had to transfer him from Grace hospital to the V.a. ourselves, the ambulance service wouldn't do it. So we used the (my) mickey's truck and took him to Asheville. What a pain in the ass. He was there for another week. We took him on Thursday the week after my birthday and we picked him up on the following Tuesday. We saw him on Sunday and left just as it was about to snow on them.....So he is home and doing very well. hardly any problems breathing, exercising, walking around the house for short periods without his oxygen.
OK a few weeks ago we found out the Chuck, dad's friend that is moving from Canada to here(moving in with my parents actually), had a 5 was bypass. Chuck was m.i.a for a few days and dad called to check on him and found out through his step mom. But he is out now but still sore from the surgery.
On to us in the office we are backed up but by next week we will be caught up. I have 7 orders sitting behind me waiting to get out.....and I'm locked out of the office. I have a lot of work to do today and will most likely stay late again this week also. I have had no weekends off and worked until 10 pm on Monday's just to turn work in....but I also got that stupid stomach flu(thanks mom!) lasted two days but still draggy.....
