Oh it came, it snowed and then hell froze over.....
Yes, that's right folks, Hell did freeze over at least over here in Morganton N.C.
We got 4.5 inches of snow on Saturday then by 3 pm it was frozen and guess who had to take the dogs out at 5pm? Yup, you guessed it me! I stayed on the porch and they didn't go to far in the yard to do their thing either.
I was in heaven!
But now today is Sunday and the snow is almost gone and it still is cold.
I'm learning to live with the cold. And then when I'm used to the cold It'll get hot.....
This is my life.....
Nothing exciting to report oh wait.... I did get a new cell phone and am going back during the next week (if the big check we're supposed to get is here) To get the camera phone for 30 bucks. I didn't have the money this week but will have it next.
It's from sprint and I have to thank Jenny for it. I tried Verizon and they wanted 400$ deposit for 1 phone and I need two, one for me and one for Erica, so Jenny told me that she had encountered the same thing and then she went to Sprint and she got the phone for free(as my two were) and NO DEPOSIT! So I tried it at Sam's where we shop once a week for stuff and I went over and talked to the kiosk guy and he did a check and Viola! I got a free phone too! So I am a part of the cell phone age once again. I needed a cell phone with the traveling I do and the need to get ahold of Elk every now and then to check in and I can't call from my landlord's phone. So I want to see if the bills are tax deductible because I technically got it for the business. HMMMM I wonder?
Well that's all to tell nothing exciting.....

Oh boy is it cold!
It was a shockingly cold 22 today. That's right I said Today.
I'm afraid what it's going down to tonight.

Can anyone say I'm fffrrreeeeezing?
Well we are officially caught up and are working on next month's work orders...YEAH!!!!
We turned in the last of this months orders today. Then picked up 2 more orders.
One is for 800 960's and the other is for 624's which I didn't get a look at but I think it is going to be a lot just with a look at the heatsinks alone.
Other than that it's been uneventful.
Tomorrow is my Birthday, my 39th. First I'm going to get up early(here's how early) at 7 a.m., or I should say be downstairs at 7 a.m., then at 10 I'm going to give blood,I do it every year on my birthday now. Give blood that I haven't done 'it' in a while now. Not enough teeth in the head if you get the joke.
I bought the DVD for the fifth element the movie Dee and I call Die hard in space. With Bruce Willis. I love this move and just had to get it in DVD. Oh yeah and Erica bought me a three in one TV for my birthday also. It has a vcr, a DVD, and the TV in one. I'm pretty happy with it. It's downstairs in the office for us to watch while we work and that way Erica can get her computer back instead of us using it to play movies on.
Well I don't really have anything else to say.
So everyone stay warm and happy and .....

HELLO EVERYONE!!!!
Just a line to say everyone is happy and finally healthy again!
Erica is doing much better and Sam is too. Sam gets her stich out on Monday(the 17th).
We have almost cleaned out the office, we officially have 2 boards left to finish from the 3rd week of December. What a Mess!!!! We finished 500 960's today and are starting both 924-4's and 110's. (24-4's have to be finished before Tuesday to be turned in. We are getting another order of 124's on Tuesday not having any boards released to us this week(thank goodness). Tammy ended up hiring another person to fill in The vendors who left in December but that's ok she'll start them out on small work orders and we'll pick up the slack. That's the skinny on work.
The weather has been WONDERFUL these last few weeks with temps in the upper 60's-70's to lows in the 40's. Very comfortable sleeping weather, well that all changes tonight. Our low is going to 26 degrees with a high of 47. I've been running around in short-sleeves and capri pants and now it's back to sweat pants and flannels. What is the weather goddess doing to us?
well that's that. Next Thursday is my BIRTHDAY!!!!! And I'll be 39....
Holy cow am I getting old.

Wow what a week! I'm so tired, I could just sleep right through past my birthday in 2 weeks.
I'm going to be 39.
Cool huh?
Here's the update on the 7 orders of boards that we got.
1. We gave them 600 624's, 300 950's, 200 120's, 500 960's, 50 124's, 60 esm1's,
2. We still have 300 924-4's and 400 960's.
3. Then on Tuesday we picked up another 500 960's and 550 110's.
110's are worth 755.00$ alone. Woo hoo!
4. We are having to finish the 900 960's before Tuesday.
We didn't get a check like we knew. And Samantha, our mouth from the south, got sick.
She got spayed, and her hip was checked. It's really bad now with her getting older.
She'll be 8 this year in May we think. But she's all better now and that's all that matters.
Oh yeah, And Erica did get sick in fact she's sick right now. She has Gastrenteritis.
She got real sick at about 10:30 last night and we ended up in the E.R. till 3 am.
She got drugs and iv solution and I got to watch real t.v. till it was time to go.
I've made up my mind we are getting cable back next week even if I have to steal money from someone.
Well there's the update and you are caught up, well I almost forgot to say that I talked to my Cousin Lynn yesterday before Erica got sick. Got a short run down on his life and found out the snot was living in Florida the same time that I was. Wretch. I could have hung out with him in Daytona Beach where he lived if my dad was talking to his relatives back then. I never knew where any one was. And now dad is talking to all his nieces my Uncle Bud's kid's.
that's that any your reading the whole thing.....
I'm going to bed now
And praying for the victims of that horrible wave.
Can't donate anything but my prayers......
