Hello campers!
Well we are truly the black sheep of my dads side of the family now. Like I said in the last blog, My uncle died. He had a massive heart attack after eating lunch with his wife. I guess he ate lunch with Dolly, then paid the check then collapsed right in the doorway to leave. Dead before he hit the floor one of the paramedic's told Dolly. He died Wednesday, Sept 15, and that Friday he was waked and then on Monday he was buried. Well it appears EVERYONE in dad's family showed up for the wake and burial including my cousins down in Florida! So we are now official black sheep of his family, but we've been that forever and why change now. My dad didn't like his brother anyway and we just didn't have the money to send him up there. SO what to do? He apparently isn't too concerned about it but I think he's getting a little guarded.
Our trip is one week away officially and we CANNOT wait! My aunt Barb is bubbling OVER! It's pretty scary, she doesn't normal get that excited over stuff but I guess seeing mom is too much for her to handle, hehehe.
Making plans and buying stuff for the trip and getting packed are the thoughts for today and getting boards done and hoping to get boards early (Friday) to work over the weekend and into the week before we leave for extra money, which you can never have enough of, especially when you are going to China town and have Erica with you!
Well off to turn in boards we spent until 2AM thins morning finishing, and then to do the laundry (our washer is broken and we aren't spending anything until we get back!)

Ok campers, what's next!
actually everything over here is excellent. We are so enjoying this week off. We did our 960's, in 7 hours no less, but there was only 200 of them. So we turned them in on Tuesday and we've had the rest of the week off. We went to Asheville on Tuesday to get dad's medicine which he's been taking to much of the Dr. says. But this is his world and everyone else is wrong.
We also volunteered for the church who sponsors ore classes on Tuesday, which kicked my ass! Actually my knee, I got home after two straight hours of walking to and from the building they are headquartered in handing out groceries. We needed the help with food this week and we got a lot. When we got home I could not walk! Literally my leg would not support me. So I grabbed a flexeril and went to sleep. 12 hours later, I woke up at 8am to go to class and fell back asleep until 11:42am when I had to get up and take the puppies out. I was walking normally but my feet were killing me now. I limped around all day and then Thursday I was fine. And we're going back on Tuesday! And here's the crazy part, I can't wait to do it! It was the best exercise I had!
Oh yeah one more thing, I cant remember if I told anyone this...But my uncle died from a massive heart attack last week he was 72.

Alright everyone I fixed the site and now you can SEE Who I am....With the farscape test that is.....
What a lovely weekend and no boards to get in the way! we finished both orders by friday and got this weekend off! Granted the 124's are missing heatsinks AGAIN! and we only had 100 left to do with 110's, were done.
We go to class tomorrow and then to Elk and then pick up the next order od 960's that are only 200, We'll have them done by Wednesday. Then another even longer weekend but that doesnt help the trip money situation.
Speaking of trip money my aunt called Yesterday(Sat) and asked if we were still coming seeing she hadent been able to get ahold of us (Damn internet users that we are) but I reasures her that we were but we just shortened the stay. She wanted to know what it would take and I said money
well have to go not allowed to be one the computer this weekend I guess
I'm getting my own damn computer so I daont have to worry about who's 'computer' I'm using!

Ok quick note to all
the Catawba river is cresting as we speak and downtown Morganton is under 4 feet of water!!!
Yes campers, Frances left her mark with us too. Both yesterday and today we have had a steady rain, and now everything is under water.
I will have pictures later on this week or maybe into next week I'm going back that way tomorrow to get the pictures. It's way bad, but cool at the same time.
Our little creek on the way onto us 64 is now a big creek. So I'll get pictures of that too.
And there is more rain coming down from the mountains and will make the creek bigger...
that's all here, Oh wait! Did I tell you I have my wedding clothes? I bought them for a song and yes, they are new. I think I spent a total of 50$ on the outfit but now am looking for shoes. Found a cool handbag (Sue you'll be so proud of me, it's little) and now am trying to get mom to "loan" me her pearls to go with it. And a few other things as well. Will definitely have pic's to post when we come back.
We want to do some ghost hunting up there too....

Avast my Florida maties.....hehehe
Ah yes, again you are hit with yet another Hurricane and I'm freaking furious!!!
two in a row!! When I lived down there not an inkling of one but you guys get two!
But the good thing about this one( Frances that is) is that she'll be here tomorrow in the afternoon and here for a few days. Yah hoo! As everyone here knows I LOVE THE RAIN. And since we are done with 960's and turning them in tomorrow, we will have a prep day and not start anything until Wednesday. With more rain.....
One the other hand, The money pit has been home for a whole weekend....
It seems Pasco county, where I'm from, is under water.... At least the weathermen are saying it. I haven't heard from anyone so it must not be that bad.
So here's to you Florida, Doing the backstroke....... hehehehehe

I think we needed a break.
We didn't work for the last three days really. We turned in the 120's and 124's on Wednesday and that was the last time we saw the inside of the office! Erica and I watched Total Recall and the Lord of the rings Two Towers and Return of the King, all on Wednesday night! We didn't get to sleep until after 2am! (Oh yeah thanks, SUE, for telling me that Halidan(spelling?)DIES at the end of Towers!!!!!) Great movies but sometimes the fight scenes got to long.
Thursday after class we were going to go down but it was soooo rainy and dreary we were falling asleep in class! So work was out then and today Dad got paid so we went out to eat(Chinese buffet), got the van back (250$), and then screwed around in town for awhile. It's now 5:56 pm and we are not going downstairs to work, We're rearranging rooms and cleaning.
I guess this hurricane is coming this was after all but not until Monday, and staying until Wednesday. Goody we need the rain.
That's about all now we are just waiting to get on the road and go on vacation or a shorted version of it due to the fact that we had to rent a car to go. We'll leave on Thursday the 7th and come home Thursday the 14th instead of the weekend. Oh well I guess I should be glad we're even going.
