the weird life i live

The money pit from hell! Is what my sister bought, and I don't care what mom and randy (the mechanic) says it's still has to be fixed before it'll be a good working car. Ok from the beginning. erica and mom and dad went to look at cars at the lot we go to on Fleming and U.S. 70. She picked out the Escort but dad said the engine was too rough to really buy. So she picked out the Chevy Astro (1994). We need a mini van for the ride to Florida anyway so why rent when you can buy. Anyway, mom and Erica goes and pays for it (1,100) then drives to Randy's our mechanic, he takes it for a drive and they discover a leak. Next day he calls and says theirs a leak in the transmission....aaaaakkkkkk how much? not to bad he's says but there's more, oil leak, so we say change the oil and tune up the car......2 days later we stop in to see progress (cause Erica's car is dying quicker now). Randy tells us that with everything he has to do it will cost us 1935.00!!!!! Gasp!!! Ok we have to have it done to get the car working. Making payments is fine he tells us, great, thank god the boards are picking up...More on that..... So now yesterday were out and about instead of doing boards that we are late on we stop in.... More bad news brakes are gone as is the idler arms and tie rods....Ready.....Here it comes...... 1360.00.........ggggrrrrrrr might as well take my first born as well(hehehe as everyone should know I've had a hysterectomy 6 years ago....Can you believe 6 years ago....) so for the total invoice is around 3500.00. For a 1,100 dollar car. But it's going to last longer now that we've done all of this..... Does anyone realize what this mean?....That's right kids I wont be moving to Florida this year. Maybe in April well have the money to move. Because in the next breath we have to fix the truck next and that's been sitting for over 7 years. Now before everyone thinks I'm going to the poor house, My dad got his money, I cant say how much but it will take care of all the bills and a major part of fixing the truck. So all I have to worry about is saving 5,000 for deposits and such. If we can get 2,000 more we'll have our couch that we picked out. It's a very nice sectional. So that's most of my week. Now for the boards. We went to Elk last week and wanted to know what was in store for us....I shouldnt've asked. For the month of May, we have our normal 500 960's, with 500 110's with the ugly heatsink, 200 120's large board but good heatsink....Speaking of 120's this is what happened to us. Erica and mom were doing a quick garbage pick up to take to the dump, Erica sees a static bag that looks empty. It's not though there is 92 apmlifiers in there waiting for me to make them into heatsinks....Guess what they throw them out.....Well we call and ask how muck to replace them...187.00 the whole order is worth 190.00 I just did boards for free. Funny huh, and were all to blame. Anyway, we're getting 100 BLT's(no it's not food), 90 443's(nice board quickly done),and a few other orders. A nice run for May. For June it's just as nice just cant remember too many of the orders we always get 500 960's and about 200 120's those are our boards. But now with the last girl fired leaving at the end of the month we are going to get slammed!!! Thank god too with the Money pit still at Randy's.....hehehe...nothing more really to say but were busier than a one armed wall paper hanger....but you gotta love it....
